Students Take Top Honors in DP Poster Contest!

Congratulations to three North Elementary School artists who took top honors in this year's Des Plaines Optimist Club Poster Contest!

The theme for this year was "How I Can Show Optimism in My Community."

Fifth grader Sienna took 1st Place in the 5th and 6th grade category and took 1st place at the state level!

Nadia, a fifth grader, took 2nd Place in the 5th and 6th grade category.

And fourth grader Barzah  took 2nd place in the 3rd and 4th grade category.

All of the winners will be honored at the Des Plaines Movies in the Park event at Lake Opeka on Friday, June 12 at 7:00PM!  Way to go, North artists!
