Welcome Back, North Students!

A group of young children, some wearing colorful clothing and accessories, are seated together in what appears to be a classroom or educational setting, with a blue wall in the background.

Back at school after a long summer break, students at North Elementary School were eager to reunite with their friends and start a new year of learning.

The first few days of school were dedicated to PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) stations, in which students learned about the school's behavior expectations.

At the lunchroom station, students learned about the lunch process and the behavior that is expected of them during lunchtime.

At the bathroom station staff taught students how to wash and dry their hands properly, along with other expectations for the restroom and drinking fountain.

Outside the building, staff showed the students how to line up and walk respectfully in a straight, quiet line.

In the hallway and stairwell station, students learned how to be polite and walk safely.

Finally, at the bus station, students went over expectations for riding the bus and how to be courteous to their peers.

The students are excited and ready for a fun year of learning ahead!
