Dancing Through North School!

Every year, about 30 second and third grade students participate in the club.

Each class runs for 30 minutes a week during recess time and includes a warm-up exercise and a few songs.

Stevens said there is a predictable pattern to the movements and they are cued so that all students are successful.

Each week, new songs are added and by the end of the session, the students have learned about six songs worth of dances.

The students love to perform for the North News. 

Ms. Stevens said the students involved all have so much fun and are sad when the session ends!
