North Elementary School's Literacy Enrichment Teacher, Ms. Boscardin, met with the third grade students in Ms. McKelvey's class to work with them on coding.

The students have been working all year on the computer science program "CS First" and Ms. Boscardin began the class showing them all of the accomplishments they had achieved together so far.

The students then logged into the Google coding platform and continued working on coding lessons using "Scratch."

Students had fun coding and animating hedgehogs.

They also were tasked with selecting a person out of an image and adding them to their coding scene.

Some of the students chose to draw animated lines and other shapes to add to their scenes.

The students helped each other if there were questions.

They all enjoyed coding and learning with their peers!
