Chicago-based author Megan Prendergast visits North!

On March 2 North welcomed Chicago-based author Megan Prendergast to their school.
Prendergast talked about her book Included, which teaches children about inclusion, kindness, empathy and compassion.
The students learned that although kids may look different on the outside, what is on the inside is what matters most.
Prendergast also told the students about the importance of seeking out similarities and celebrating differences. In addition, all students received a copy of her book!
