A Visit from the Library

A Visit from the Library
North

Two representatives from the Des Plaines Public Library visited students at North Elementary School last week.

The representatives, Stephanie Gelb and Becky Keane, told the students all about the exciting things the library offers.

They gave them information on how to get a free library card and also sent them home with information for their parents.

The students were then treated to a reading of the book Ogilvy.

The book, by Deborah Underwood, is about a bunny that moves to a new town and wants to do everything and anything, regardless of the clothes he wears.

After the reading, the students participated in a craft in which they were each given their own "Ogilvy" rabbit to color and decorate.

Thank you to the Des Plaines Public Library for visiting the students of District 62!
