2nd Graders Have Fun with Phonics

First the students cut out unfamiliar words from their workbooks and focused on sorting them by syllables. 

Then the class practiced writing the words in their workbooks.

After they finished sorting and writing all of the words, Ms. Steffan asked them to make new words with the words they had cut out and sorted the previous week.

Their vocabulary is growing more and more every day!
