A Des Plaines tradition for over 35 years, the Community Concert Band has a vast repertoire that includes classics, great Sousa marches, contemporary concert band standards, the latest pop favorites, and movie scores.
The band is actively seeking members for most sections.

Come explore the forest at Des Plaines' very own Izaak Walton League.
We'll walk through the grounds, see the river and hopefully some animals too!
Then, we'll go inside the historic Jefferson Home to make a craft for late night reading using natural and recycled supplies.
